1.2 Termination J1 Parts

. D Sub 9-way MALE Solder Cup

AMPHENOL G17S0910110EU (Element14 1849899) or equivalent.

. D Sub Backshell, Size DE, Black, Nylon with manual screws

2. D-sub 9 way male connector wire harness assembly

 2.1 Assembly J1

. Strip cores wires over 2mm

. Twist core wire ends and tin as required

. Add label “SPEAKERS” onto cable and cover with clear heatshrink.

. Solder core wires into D-sub solder cups as per connection details.

. Put D-sub into shell.

. Attach strain relief.

. Complete shell assembly.

2.2 Assembly P1, P2

. Strip core wires over 5mm

. Twist core wire end together

. Add label “LEFT SPEAKER” onto cable and cover with clear heatshrink.

. Slide narrow crimp terminal over red core end and crimp.

. Slide larger crimp terminal over black core end and crimp.

2.3 Assembly P3, P4

. Strip core wires over 5mm

. Twist core wire end together

. Add label “RIGHT SPEAKER” onto cable and cover with clear heatshrink.

. Slide narrow crimp terminal over red core end and crimp.

. Slide larger crimp terminal over black core end and crimp.
